Khaled graduated with a degree in Financial Management and obtained a Master's degree in Project Management. He worked in the banking sector in September 2011. Khaled has a complex disability as he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). He is an advocate, fundraiser, volunteer, and advisor in the field of ALS. He has participated in two clinical trials and worked on fundraising for ALS research and patient rights. Khaled was the official spokesperson for the ALS Association and public campaigns, and he participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise funds and awareness for treatment. He is a founding member of the Jordanian ALS Foundation for ALS patients and an advisor for assistive technology solutions for persons with disabilities.
