Jordan’s Commitments to the Global Disability Summit 2025
Jordan is committed to advancing the rights of persons with disabilities in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).
At the Global Disability Summit (GDS 2025) in Berlin, Jordan presented national commitments including:
- Inclusive education
- Accessibility and universal design
- Employment and economic empowerment
- Health and social protection
- Legal capacity and policy reform
These pledges reflect Jordan’s vision of building a barrier-free society in which people with disabilities can participate fully and equally.
